Does it matter to me? Not really. He's not here anymore. He was great to have here. He did a lot for this team. But he's not here. He's on the Mariners now.

That kind of surprised me, because they usually make you beat them. But we were able to take advantage of what they were giving us. That's a good sign, because we did the same thing last year, too.

I let it grow every winter and get it cut in April or May. I'm too lazy in the off-season to get it cut.

I don't know if it's been too much. I just think that with the combination of the ceremonies, the off day, all the families that were in town, all the people that wanted a piece of our time the last few days, it's just been difficult because it's almost like the game was secondary, which is not how it should be. It's great, we enjoyed it, but it's time to move on to a new season.

I didn't hear (Eddings) say anything. It was a tough situation and I ran. I was like, 'Well, if he calls me out, we'll try and shut them out for another inning.' Luckily, Joe hit one to win the game.

These have to go down as three of the best (postseason) performances.

These guys aren't going to quit or go away. They've done things that are very special.

The day it comes down to me being afraid to come up and face somebody, that should be my last day in baseball.

The last time I checked, we came out after the break and played pretty well. It's always nice when you win and win early and set everything up.
