That was like the old days -- the old hookups with two outstanding pitchers. (Hudson) had his 'A' game going tonight. You can't possibly throw any better than he threw tonight. He just placed the ball exactly where he wanted to with live stuff. This one was special.
I've really been counting on him going down the stretch because Mike can be an ace of a staff. He's done it before.
It's going to be questionable whether or not his back's going to get that much better where he can become the ace again. But we haven't given up, by any means.
