I still think the big part of the game was our inability to take advantage of our control in the first half where we created chances and had a lot of the play. Their forwards won the battle and made a difference in the second half.
I thought it was a well played game for both teams. Both teams had chances in the second half. I thought our team had a much improved effort in the last 45 minutes.
We probably created more chances in the first half. We weren't able to finish the play.
It just seems that every fluke play happens to Taylor. He's had a few chances, and like anybody else he has to break the ice and get a goal. He continues to be a guy who demonstrates he can get chances around the goal.
I'm not saying anyone's in or anyone's out after tonight. But Taylor's chances are looking as good as they did (after the Norway game). He's had a good couple weeks, and he's certainly putting himself into a good position. Tonight's play didn't hurt.
