As I haven't been playing much at all on clay, I am pleased with today's result. It is great to be in the quarters. Little by little, my game is getting together and (I) am getting more and more confident.

I was expecting to make a better tournament here, but I play a guy that today was better than me, ... It would be better if I can reach a few rounds(He) was serving good and playing good from the baseline.

He was actually too good. I played a great first set and then he was playing much better than me.

And then from the baseline, he was playing pretty well too. So serving well and playing well from the baseline, I didn't get any opportunity to break his serve or anything.

Since I've started this tournament, I haven't always felt that I've been playing very well. I could see it coming. I knew that if I continued playing like that, I wouldn't be able to win again. So I fought as much as I could. I had a number of opportunities, and I didn't take them. Obviously, he used every single chance. And when I was up 4-love, he used all opportunities, and he did the right thing.
