I?m excited. I can?t wait. And I know the kids are excited, too. I got in here at 6 because there is so much paperwork to do. We have to set up the practice rules, the schedule, everything.But it?s fun. It?s what college basketball is supposed to be about.

We're pretty defensive-minded and when you look at Louisville's defensive percentage and the 3s they hit, you just feel terrible about how you played. Then you look and we hit 14 3s and that's unbelievable. That was just an incredible college basketball game with two outstanding offensive teams drilling big shot after big shot.

This is as good a college basketball atmosphere as you are going to find in the country. It starts with the students and this is a very difficult place to play. I've always thought its one of the best. I don't know if there's anywhere in the country with a wall of human beings like that behind one basket that can create that noise. We love it.

One of the areas the NBA has affected college basketball is the big guys. If they're very skilled as young guys, they take them early. The guys who are able to benefit from maturing four years in college are the guards.

This was a great college atmosphere. I had mixed feelings coming into the gym.
