We wear respirators when we're in the houses. We've been taking mud out in wheelbarrows. You walk in a room and it just makes you want to throw up.
The roads are just full of hundreds of yards of debris. You know how we shovel piles of snow out of parking lots? That's what they're doing with personal items and furniture. All of their personal things are being tossed out in piles.
Once you see what's going on here, you just want to reach out and help them. I'm coming back. I just don't see how I couldn't. Other volunteers are saying the same thing.
