Catching the football for me is instinctual. I've been catching the football and I can catch the football. That's natural for me and that's not a problem. My speed, I'll continue to get faster and I'll continue to get stronger.
I think there are elements I'll be lacking here. My route running, I'll have to work on. Catching the football, I can catch the football. And my speed, I'll have to work on that, too.
Could it be more beneficial for me to be skiing? Maybe, but that's not what I want to do right now. I love being in the gym, I love doing plyometrics, I love running routes, I love catching the football.
I'll have a week to put the cleats on and get ready. Is a week enough? I don't see why not. I've been catching footballs two days a week. It feels like I'm able to get into it quickly.
