Last year's team had some of this. This year's team hasn't had this yet. They anticipated it at Ohio State, but this was a great learning experience for us and one that will help us the rest of the way.

I am really excited about the fact that Ohio State is honoring Woody Hayes while Coach Royal will be there. I think that is really cool. I am hoping that Earl Campbell goes up and sits with Archie Griffin. That is good stuff for college football fans.

I took the media guide and showed our players all the great All-Americans and all the Heisman Trophy winners at Ohio State so they would appreciate the history at the school. I showed them a picture of Coach Hayes because I knew he would be honored there. I want them to know what's going on. I told them when they're 54, they'll look back on this as a great moment in their lives and that they need to play good and they need to win.

It's important in recruiting. A lot of these young people and their parents have a dream to play in the NFL. To some families, it's not that important, but I would say very few players who go to Texas or Ohio State don't have that dream.

It helped us understand that all of the hype around the game is totally unimportant unless you enjoy it. Don't fight it and don't get nervous about it: enjoy it. I had a great time the week of the Ohio State game. I had never been to that stadium and I was like a kid walking in there like a fan.
