He didn't look as dominant as I've seen him in the past. He didn't use a lot of breaking balls or off-speed stuff, he just used his fastball. But we didn't strike it.
He just wanted to go out and throw the ball over the plate. That's what he did. He didn't throw too many breaking balls. He just threw some fastballs. He got them where he wanted them.
I thought in the fourth and fifth innings he really battled himself trying to find his release point and got high in the zone and couldn't get the breaking ball where he wanted to.
He threw the ball down, threw some good breaking balls and went after the hitters pretty good. He had a little mental lapse there. He got behind on a guy and gave up a home run. If we keep him focused and throw like that he'll be fine.
