When anybody says, 'Why me?' Why is 'me' exempt?
Unfortunately, there's no greater rhyme or reason as to why it would be me. And since there is no answer as to why me, it's not a question I feel really entitled to ask.
When you locate a bargain, you must ask, 'Why me, God? Why am I the only one who could find this bargain?'
Why me, lord? Don't answer that!

Certainly one is brought to the brink of one's sense of who one is, what one has to do, why me, why now, why in this time in history? I am really driven, believe it or not, am awakened by a sense of being in this powerful axis, this turning point in human history.
People work too hard to figure out the meaning of their lives. Why me, why now. The truth is, sometimes things don't happen to you for a reason. Sometimes it's just about being in the right place at the right time for someone else.
You may feel singled out when adversity enters your life. You shake your head and wonder, 'Why me?'
Men are rewarded or punished not for what they do but for how their acts are defined. That is why men are more interested in better justifying themselves than in better behaving themselves.
Who knows why men do anything?
Why you? Why us for that matter? Why anything? Because this moment simply is.
