If we don't move the ball we can't get it to the posts. We tried to go inside-out, but we weren't getting as many three's as we wanted. They were putting a lot of pressure on the ball.
Free throws really killed us. If you only make 1 of 4 free throws in an overtime, you're not going to win.
We couldn't get it inside. We had 17 turnovers in the first half. That's 17 possessions where we didn't even get a shot.
We were able to overcome some first-half foul trouble. They made a lot of free throws and were able to get a little closer, but we were able to hold on.
With 17 turnovers, there are 17 possessions you don't have to even take a shot, let alone get a good one.
We turned the ball over at inopportune times. Turnovers were the game.
They've been our go-to guys. When Brad plays well it really helps. Jeff did a terrific job on defense against (Rees). He's only 6-3, so he's not real tall, but he's real strong player.
They're just a very talented team, and they play so well together. They're such a classy crew, and I wish them all the luck in the state tournament.
It's always nice to get a win in conference. We had Geneva and Batavia the first two games, so that was kind of an unlucky draw for us. They're going to beat a lot of teams.
Their pressure took us out of anything we were doing in the first half. They completely dominated us with their defense, and we didn't react well.
The first half, especially, we couldn't run our offense. They were pressuring us and we couldn't respond. Their defense killed us.
The final score looks a lot better than it really was. They're a very good team and they play so well together.
