Our guys were a little bitter after Friday's loss, so we did come out hungry. That's the type of attitude we need to have on the court. I'm real proud that all 15 kids went out there. It was a total team effort.
That really sparked us. We got up about 13-14 points and we missed some free throws, but it was never in doubt once we got that big lead.
Someone said the score was wrong. That kind of stopped the game and there was some confusion and that kind of stopped their momentum.
The great thing about us is it doesn't matter who you expect to step up. There's always someone else that steps up.
It was great to see Scott play like he did. He put a complete game together. He's worked real hard so he deserves that.
We're really excited to play them. We have to shoot the ball well. They are very big, so we have to block out and rebound well.
I thought tonight's crowd was huge. The crowd really helped. We've got two more home games against Conroe and College Park and I hope everyone comes out.
I thought a big key for us was that even though we didn't play well, we kept grinding and playing hard. If we would have made our free throws and gotten some more of our shots, our lead would have been 20 points instead of eight.
We looked desperately for someone to represent this.
I'd tell the fans to expect a high energy, tough-nosed game. There's going to be a lot of energy in the building and I'm really hoping The Woodlands fans go over there. I'm hoping to have a great crowd for us.
