People with junk cars also need to have them removed. A notice will be sent to them and they will have up to 30 days to correct the problem.
If the city goes in to do the cleaning, the charge for the cleaning will be added to their property taxes.
We get complaints from people that certain properties are not being kept up. We look into it, and once we find the owners we send them a notice asking to pick up their garbage, debris and brush and their alley ways and ask them to place any garbage in its designated area.
A positive response has occurred and we hope to continue to work together with the community to have a nicer place to live.
