I expect to be able to use the experience that I gained to assist me to help economic development at the state level. I think the experience I got was valuable. I have been the director of the OCIC longer than any other director has been.
Citizens have a right to know. We have a right to know how government spends our money. More importantly, we have a right to know how government arrives at decisions that affect all of us.
I think school funding and funding for preschool and college are a major economic tool that the state has let the ball drop on by cutting back.
I would say some concern has been raised that I am so far north.
The state of Ohio has among the highest tuition rates in the country. The number of college graduates has slowed.
