We don't want them (veterans) unaware or reluctant to seek out services for which they are entitled.
Although recommended, not required, we'd like members of the commission represent each combat action if possible. Winneshiek County Vets are not that high yet, but will be in years to come.
Veterans do your part in informing colleagues and friends and put them in touch with VA services.
If Linn County had as many full time directors per capita as Winneshiek County, instead of three employees they'd have 23. You do the math.
That's what we plan to do and we'll take this into consideration then.
