It was a team effort. Every kid contributed who stepped on the floor and every kid on the bench supported them the whole way. It's great to see what kind of character a team has.
We were really helped by the development of some of our younger players.
I think Rand (Rasmussen) is such a good coach. That's a good team. He gets so much out of his players, and he's so smart. They're always contenders year after year.
We didn't have good help defense. You can't guard Haley one-on-one without some help from your teammates . . . Haley in the open court, I think she's the best player in the state.
She's that quiet force on a team. Her presence never shows up in statistics as much as we felt it on the court. I think she was one of the top defenders in the state.
I think she came out very determined. She's just a sophomore, and she hit her free throws down the stretch.
Dani has improved exponentially over this season. She put in the time and effort in practice, and it has really paid off for her.
You just day in and day out demand that of yourself. I also don't see us really cohesive offensively, either.
That was Natalie's call. It pulls them out man-to-man and our guards are really quick. Teresa was incredible tonight. Everyone just played so well.
Haley in the open court is the best player in the state. She's just a tremendous athlete.
