The kids are working really hard in practice. The seniors have stepped up and are putting the puck in the net. Bridger is outstanding in the net. We have two guys that are first and second in the league in goals-scored.
We have earned enough points to be at least fourth in the league and qualify for the state championship.
We have a nice corps of players coming back next year, including three of our top defenders, which will be key. Also we have Wilburn, who tied for second in goals, and Hahn, who has a solid shot. We are happy with what we have returning.
It's a real advantage. It's a drain on young kids to travel. They don't eat regularly and don't sleep regularly. (Holding the state tournament in Columbus is a) tremendous advantage.

Matt is our guy. He's one of those guys that can turn the difference in the game. We play wide open, and when you have a goalie that turns the game for you, you play that way.
