She is usually perceived as a dove and bearing that in mind I think her remarks come across as quite upbeat and I think that's why sterling is finding a little bit of relief.
Domestic data is not having a whole lot of impact at the moment.
The UK service sector PMI gave a boost to sterling -- sterling came off against the euro yesterday, so the data provided the opportunity for a bit of a correction.
Both the earnings and the claimant count data are stronger than expected. But I think any reaction to that data will be limited until we see the tone of the Bank of England's inflation report later this morning.
