We did have several opportunities to tie the score. Unfortunately, the ball just didn't bounce our way. We had a couple of good looks, shots didn't go in and we had a couple of turnovers. We were never able to get over that hump.

She's one of the leaders, but we talk about it being a team game. If you look at the statistics, it shows Erika leads us in a lot of categories. But I think we're a well-rounded team. They do a nice job of finding a player and not forcing shots.

I really think Patten makes them go, but the other girls do all the things that don't show up in the box score ? and they really get after you defensively.

It took a lot out of us to come back in second quarter. And again to come back in third quarter, it took a lot out of our sails.

We missed the front end of two 1-and-1 in the second quarter, too. It could have been a tie score at the half.
