What you have is a community where the majority of the people value prayer and want it in the City Commission meeting.
I think it's normal for a city to lose people. However this does seem to be an extraordinary amount of people, and I think that's a leadership issue.
I think that they changed their minds because they understood the mandate that people wanted. I think that in the future elections, I think that some people will consider that an issue.
People have to have leadership that they believe in and that they believe supports them. Who is going to want to stay when they see themselves as a target?
They didn't hear from the public. I find that to be another one of the leadership problems we have in Deltona. They keep making these mistakes.
It's time for Deltona to decide if they want to use eminent domain for private or public development. I support asking Deltona voters to tell us their view on eminent domain.
I personally believe that these trips are a waste. I think the council members' time would be better spent here with their residents.
