I'm just so proud of these girls. They really stepped up and got it done. I feel very fortunate to be their coach.
We had a hard time adjusting to the consistency of the game. We hadn't been home in a while, so it looked like we were the ones on the road having to get used to our fans and the baskets all over again.
Hayley was on fire. They had to get out on her, and that really opened things up for other people.
We always find a way to win. We have won close games all year. I just feel very fortunate to be coaching them.
When Morgan gets shut down, somebody has to step up. Haley really stepped up and hit some crucial shots. We also had some pretty good role players step up as well and give us a big lift.
We stepped up and played a complete game (against Woodland). We played great team defense.
This is going to be a typical week in our conference. We know both teams will be tough. We are taking it one game at a time and keeping our focus.
It was a very aggressive game, but I thought our kids stepped up and handled the pressure extremely well. I thought we were able to handle their press and get some big baskets then made some big free throws down the stretch.
She's a great shooter. Fortunately, we hit some big free throws and had some really big stops on defense at the end.
I really thought our lack of defense in the first half hurt us. We dug a hole. We came out of it. But we never really recovered from it.
