We're starting the 2006 part of the season in dominating fashion and that's good.

But when we get everyone clicking together, which is the sectional, district and state, then we're going to be turning some heads.

This speaks volumes about these kids. I think the boys believe ... well, what was (Brian Brakeman's) quote: 'It is time to see whether (Reynoldsburg) can wrestle with the big boys.' I think we've shown that we can.

Right now the only thing that will beat us is ourselves.

They got beat pretty bad by Elk Creek last year. They knew they needed this win to set the tone for the season.

There were several questionable calls at the end.

It says a lot for the boys. They're not taking anything for granted and they're wrestling every match like it's their last match. They're going out there and dominating and we're going to step it up here the next couple weeks.

It's like a relief. It's a way for 60 minutes to get your mind off stuff that's going on. In a way, I think it's kind of good for all the people in Louisiana and Mississippi and Alabama who went through the hurricane.

It's always good to have experienced guys, or veterans, that have been there. They know what to expect. Hopefully they'll be able to have a better showing at the finals.

It's going to be a challenge to repeat. Everybody is going to have to play their role. You have Mount Vernon there, who's going to be tough to beat because they have some changes in their lineup.

It's something we are dealing with. I think it helped that it wasn't in the season, so we had a little time to digest it before the start of the season.

It just showed we were going to fight to the end.

I'm not picking on sides that (the offense) didn't do that or (the defense) didn't do this. Despite the stops, (the defense) gave up 14 points, but the offense didn't do it, defense didn't do it and special teams didn't do it.

All year long they were saying we can't hang with the big boys and we proved (last Saturday) that we can.

And if they want me to learn from guys like that, sure. You see (Lynch) on the highlights and he's just cracking people.
