We are a unique community because of the university. We should capitalize on the opportunities with the university.
I even worked on my first city commission race as a volunteer when I was in high school. My candidate did lose. And, I've always been involved in these kind of activities. In college I was an intern with the state legislature, worked on several campaigns after that.
I see no reason to be attacking students in general. We need to look at those who are causing problems and get them to stop causing problems.
A lot of it is just having a vision and tapping into the university.

This is part of the risk of running, that people will say things about you.
The university is not going to do that.
This has been an issue for 30 years. We need to make sure behaviors are addressed with the students.
