Last year, when he came up here, he had a lot of distractions. He had the right priorities, but the distractions took him away from his wrestling skills. He lost his best friend and that was his No. 1 distraction, but it was a distraction for the right reasons. He had his mind on his friend instead of wrestling. This year he was distraction free. He's a hard-working kid with a big heart who is doing it for all the right reasons.

My experienced guys wrestled pretty well, and my young guys showed some promise. I was pretty happy with our overall effort.
