Lots of people in the area have expressed interest to us in having commercial service (at Smith Reynolds) again.

We have to come up with a person to fill the unexpired term, which will end on June 1. We are pressed to get a majority party member and need to have a special meeting.

I'm very pleased. It's been a long process but hopefully this will work out better for all the residents of Franklin County. And this will be a positive step to solve some of our problems. The problems will not be solved overnight. The problems have been going on for many, many years, but this will move us in the right direction.

I realize the township supervisors don't control the elected officials (tax assessors), but hope this will push them to complete the job.
