When we do hit, like today, we just don't play defense. We haven't put together a solid game of pitching, hitting and defense in God-knows how long. It's killing us.

We know how big these kinds of games are. We have big win after big win after big win against quality teams like Long Beach, and then we play Davis and can't win a game.

Six runs in the fourth inning, pretty much all unearned, that killed us right there. That was the game right there.

I'd like to prove a point that our league is better than any other league. The only way to do that is by going out and beating a quality Big 12 team.

I don't think it's an issue of playing hard or taking (Tuesday games) lightly. We just need to get it done.

Our goal is to win as many games or more this year as last year. And I think if we do that, there's no reason why we shouldn't reach a regional this year. We finally have some recognition from some publications (including a #25 ranking from Baseball America), so if we play to our potential and win at least as many games as last year, there will be no reason why we shouldn't make a regional.

We don't get to take batting practice, which is kind of a bummer. But just being on the field is a great experience.

(The delay) was not the best experience, and so to come back and win (Sunday) was just great. Hopefully we can keep it rolling from there against Oregon State.

We had a two-hour snow delay (yesterday). I have never experienced anything like that in my whole life. I haven't seen snow in five years. I've never had snow fall on me while I was trying to play baseball.

This season's been everything I thought it wouldn't be. It's just so frustrating to come out every day and pour everything you have into the game and come up short.

We just really got it done. In series past, we were getting a lot more hits and not getting the big hits. This series we got the big hits.

We just need to play our game and hopefully we'll get some good performances out of Brandon, Coop, and Tyson again.

They made it to the World Series last year and they've lost some guys. But they're still a good team.

This is the kind of game that defines a season. It was all worth it.

It's always great to get out there. It's the best surface and a great atmosphere. It's going to be fun.
