This was a solid weekend for us. I was pleased with the way Elena competed while playing top-50 players back to back and winning convincingly. Cindy and Claire both played well to finish to strong and it was good to see Sharon and Linda reach the finals of their flights.

She has been everything I thought she would be, and then some. But once she develops her game more, she going to be really dangerous. I see her in the top 50 in the next couple of years.

She felt she wasn't ready. She wanted to work on her English a little more.

I already knew (Dimitrova) from her junior career because she was rated No. 1 in Bulgaria at one point. Elena knew her, and we convinced her to come in January, which has been huge for our team.

Overall, today was a good day for UNLV vs. some great competition. We also saw some things we need to work on and we look forward to the rest of the weekend.

Today was really a solid performance by our program. Boise State has a quality lineup so to win across the board was meaningful for us. Now we have a big test tomorrow against Fresno State.

This was an outstanding weekend for us and gives us one of the best starts in school history. We have set the stage for another home match next weekend before traveling to take on two of the best programs in the country.

We got some outstanding results today and are set up to challenge for three championships on Sunday. We are looking forward to a strong final day.

Every time Elena steps onto the court, she expects to win. That's something you just cannot teach.

Elena certainly has accomplished a lot already. But there's also a lot of room for improvement, and that's kind of scary.

This is not only a big win for Elena personally but also for UNLV tennis. She bounced back from a tough loss on Sunday (in college competition) and represented her school and program very well tonight.

It's great to get three conference wins on the road. We have now put ourselves in position going into next weekend to be playing for at least a share of the Mountain West championship.

It looked like we might finish third or fourth. Now I feel there's nobody in the conference that we can't beat. I think it's wide open.

Cindy is a leader on and off the court. She leads by example. She's one of hardest-working players I've ever had.
