It's very much to the floor at the moment. The government are very much behind it.
All civil servants are expected to be able to speak Gaelic.
They came from all backgrounds. Some had an Irish heritage, but not necessarily so.
There was a demand for it from the people. I think it was a rediscovery of the national identity.
