We remain confident that we will have very strong proposals from the remaining companies and that the Request for Proposals exercise will fulfil our tourism objectives.
Their feedback was carefully evaluated and appropriate adjustments were made to the specifications where necessary and practicable, but without compromising on the objectives of the IR and Singapore's interests.
They will have their own reasons why they choose to proceed or not proceed with the request for proposal, and we respect their decision.
The RFP (request for tender) requirements, including requirements on probity, have been stated upfront in the RFP. These requirements have not changed since the launch of the RFP in November 2005.
