Matt Vaughn Quotations

We've wanted to do something like this for some time. We connected this whole week to Crystal Ball on Saturday, and it just happened that this year Valentine's Day landed during the week.

We knew we had something special. We came out guns a-blazing with offense at the beginning of the year. We shattered all these records for goals ... our first line dominated. It was ridiculous.

It's been a little overwhelming since it's the first time we've done it. But everything just kept falling into place.

David gets compared to Angel and he doesn't have the smoothness and skill, but he's a solid player. He's can shoot outside and go to the glass. He does not have guard skills, but is more of a four-man (power forward).

It's been totally different dealing with all the phone calls and attention. It's a little surreal and we haven't dealt with all of this before. It's interesting and amazing how word filters out.

Garcia is extremely talented. They have a European-type game. They can both really shoot the ball well. Angel is more skilled, but David is really making an effort.

I came out and felt fine in the first inning, but I just didn't make pitches in that second inning.
