My involvement was more of a liaison part, attempting to negotiate an agreement between law enforcement and the school. The entire matter from our point of view comes down to safety, we wanted to be assured that if a similar situation arose that it would be handled a different way. The agreement we have reached assures us of that.

I want to personally thank our law enforcement for following the law and doing their job, even in the face of controversy. Sometimes it's not easy doing what is right, but they each acted professionally, and we owe them a great deal of respect for their actions.
