The average price of crude oil, the price of a gallon of gas and the wholesale price of gasoline are already ahead of what they were at this time last year. And we're not hitting the heavy driving season until mid-April.
That's pretty much the situation throughout the country.
But that may or may not happen in next week or two or three. I don't see much of a change in the immediate future.
It's not a question of if, but when (the price will drop).
We're down 4 to 6 percent in the Gulf.
It ain't looking good. All the indicators that point toward the ultimate price of gasoline are negative . The only positive indicator is the stocks of crude oil are good.
