When he came in as a freshman, he loved wrestling, loved competing. He began a path then.
He was definitely forcing the issue. I thought the referees could done a better job of forcing the wrestling a little bit. There was a lot of edge play.
We decided that if they said he could go, he was going to go. I think it was a lot just to get him on the mat. He did not want to go down quietly.
He came out and took control of the match. He's pretty aggressive. He's pretty good. That was impressive.
The first job is everybody needs to score points. And then, we've got to try to get some bonus points (which teams get for major decisions, technical falls or pins recorded by their wrestlers).
He just loves wrestling. This loss hurts right now, but we know he's gonna have a more than bright future.
