We knew they would stretch our defense. We wanted to take some chances on Marsh inside and she certainly made some plays. But I'd rather give up a 2 contested over a 3. That's a little less.
She could be like a little John Stockton or Steve Nash in our league. You need that one player who can help make other players better.
Sherry has come on since her injury. The last couple of games she has started to play more like herself again.
New Mexico is an outstanding program. . . . For our program, it was a great win today because, as I said, they worked all year to get to the point that they're at.
Obviously, it was pretty emotional for everyone. She didn't remember much. But when I walked into the hospital, she did remember my face.
I think the leader for them is really Thorburn. She doesn't shoot it a lot, but she runs the team.

We came close with this group a couple years ago. We're just happy to continue to play.
We missed a lot of chippers. Yes, there was contact sometimes, but you've got to finish, and we didn't do that.
We expect Brittney Thomas to hit the 3-point shot; she is a good shooter. She provided us with a spark off the bench and defensive intensity.

Certainly, you don't want it to be one and done. We're in a position where we need to win three games.
I do believe the NCAA will take three teams from our league and a potential bubble team.
