We're very happy. We felt like we'd get a 12 seed, maybe a 11, 12 or 13, but I think it's very deserving for this club. We didn't care who we played or where we went. We're just happy to be in the NCAA Tournament.
When you get this far down the line, you're not going to have a gimme game. We're happy to be where we're at and we're going to take it and run with it.
What we are hoping for is a repeat of last week, just go in and get ourselves a win against Louisiana-Lafayette and get ourselves focused, so we can go down to New Orleans and get a win.
It took some guts to do what they did, and I feel very thankful that they believed in me and they stood behind me and have given us what we need to be successful here.
We haven't taken a day off since we took this job. I enjoy getting up every day, coming in here and being with this staff and these players. This is my dream job.
In our conference you can't look at a record, because with eleven teams in the conference, every team is capable of winning this tournament that is coming up in March.
With the success we have had this year and going to the NCAA Tournament, I think more athletic directors across the country will look at some more of these people male and female that are great coaches at that level and bring them into the collegiate game.
This team can pose problems for a lot of teams because they are so athletic. It's going to be a great game.
They've got a real good athletic team, they are well coached, Kelley Hall does a good job, he's been in this business for a long time.
There have been teams this year that had lousy records that have beaten us, so we don't look at records, we look at personnel, strategies, philosophies. Records are the least of our problems.
