I want to dispel any notion that coach Waters' resignation was due to the unfortunate circumstances surrounding his missing our game with Marquette. That is simply not true.
I would have preferred someone explaining information about each area and what possibly was going to be planned.
I would be willing to rotate if the bids came in somewhat comparable to Hartford. What's happened is that bids by the Hartford Civic Center have offered far and away a bigger venue and more money than anyone else. It's a simple economic decision.
Any speculation regarding Gary Waters' future as head coach of the Rutgers men's basketball team is just that. We have four very important regular season games remaining and all of our focus and attention should be on those remaining games.
