We try to give away as much money as we can while being fiscally responsible. Last year we liked what we saw and our revenues were strong enough that we felt comfortable going to a higher level this year.
The grant supports paralegal assistance. It basically leverages what this agency can do, and helps with the quality and quantity of the program.
I think these are all really great programs. We hope to be able to increase the funding every year.
We operate like a focused United Way. Our goal is charitable ... improving the legal system and access to it. We have a civic mission. The money is to be used for the greater benefit of the community.
