Clyde called my parents to get a list of people who would help. He set up a date and got together with all of them. They set the date and Dana and Jake, who own the Mason Jar, donated the place. It's just amazing how people responded.
We haven't been to any of the meetings. Clyde said ?you're not helping.' They have been so great.
The hardest part was to go to the nursing home to tell my grandparents. Everyone else was in shock, but telling my grandparents was hard. We were trying to get (grandpa) better and get him out of there. And he's a worrier.
My husband was the only one who knew. I didn't tell anyone.
You're only supposed to get four of those treatments in your lifetime. That's the most you can get because it starts affecting your heart.
I'm not the type of person that runs to the doctor for every little thing. But if you are having pain or problems for too long, you should get it checked out.
My thoughts are that my job is to teach the community how to work with people who are different. I decided not to put on a wig because then I'd be covering up what's different about me.
It shouldn't be a problem (to have children).
