We are just daring people to try and go to third and home on Daniel. We need to have Daniel on the field at all times.
We had some things going early but couldn't capitalize. Those last three runs proved really important because it really gave us some distance.
To be a senior on our team, you need to be a leader or a starter. A lot of people don't know about Clint and he is an unknown to everybody except the people on our team. Second base is solid with Clint.

There comes a time when you need to sweep (doubleheaders) in order to get into the state tournament. This stretch of games will probably determine if we go to the state tournament or not.

Daniel threw the ball well and had a good effort. I was also real pleased with the way we hit the ball. We had a lot of timely hits. We were a lot more productive with runners on base and we played solid defense and made plays.
Daniel has a very good arm. You are looking at someone that got beat 3-2 in the state tournament by the state champion.

For the first time, every senior will be a starter. The 2006 edition of the Rogers High baseball team is just like a litter of pups. We are young but they want to learn and they have been fun to be around.
