We're seeing the ball and hitting the ball well. We want to take advantage and jump on people early. We haven't been doing that and we're starting to do that.
Last year we had one senior, and this year we have six. Last year, we learned a lot from the Southeast game (final season loss) and the players want redemption. Our goal is to win districts and put something together in the playoffs.
He's been just incredible. He's really been an inspiration to us. It really shows how determined he is to play baseball.
This was a good game for our confidence.
Josh is working with Pat, and he could be even better next season. He's working really hard. He consistently throws his fast ball in the 84 to 86 miles per hour range. He has thrown it once at 87, and the other pitchers are close to that.
Robert pitched a great game. And Russell came on to finish the job. No lead is really safe with North Port because they can turn the game around pretty quick.
Justin did a real good job. He had good control of his pitches and was hitting his spots.
We came out flat, that's all you have to say.

We saw that we could attack their approach.
Definitely. If he continues to hit like that, he's going to make us better.
There was a lot of talk about Ryan and his ability. I knew he could play, but he has earned his job. He only started one game in pre-season and didn't start until the last four games. Corey makes almost every play out there.
That first one looked like a major league home run.
It was a great effort. We came back last night (Friday) scoring seven runs in the seventh inning for a big district win at South Fort Myers and it carried right over in to this game.
I like our new dimensions. Right now, a fly ball here is a home run.
Alex is just a really talented athlete. He does everything well. And when he's hitting home runs, that can make things even better for us.
