We ran the ball really well. Our quarterback was running our offense to a 'T.' He has to read people and he's going to give it to the running back or he can keep it. He did a great job of doing that last night.

Our boys played hard. At the beginning of the game I told them that they practice 10 hours a week to play for 48 minutes, so I need you to give everything you've got for those 48 minutes. In the first half, they gave me everything they had for those first 24. It was just a great effort defensively. Offensively, we moved the ball up and down the field on them. But then mental mistakes put us in a bad position at times. It was definitely a major step forward over last week's Manteo game.

We had to revamp the offense this week. I put a lot on the shoulders of David Jones this week, but I think he did a really good job for us, coming in on short notice.

Our defense played great tonight. They really did a really good job. But like I said, a couple of mental mistakes the long pass in the fourth quarter and (missed tackles). We're getting there. We're definitely a better ball team than we were last year when we played Camden County.

It was a 200 percent improvement over the first game. We just had a couple of mental mistakes.
