It means you helped your team in that month in all kinds of ways. I just had a good month.
I wasn't doing well at the time. I was frustrated. It was time for me to step up, ... I wanted to help us get consistent, get into first place and stay there.
All these records I already proved what I can do this season. I just want to get it done, help my team, and get back into the World Series, ... There was a bit of frustration, but we came out on top, and that's what really matters.

A record's a record. When you're done playing, those records can stand. Right now, I'm going out there and playing to help my team win. I'm not worrying about any records.
They're the ones that see you go out there playing every day and helping your team win every day. I think the players that you play against know more than anybody. I have much respect for all those guys who vote for me.
