I don't want to be in a position to discuss all the options, except to say that we of course would want the strongest possible action by the (Security) Council to back up the important work of the U.N. special commission.
We hope that as a result of the kind of meeting we're trying to arrange, that the various permanent members of the council can bring to bear some leverage and turn this process around before it's too late.
The U.N. Security Council should be prepared to take firm action to bring about Iraqi compliance in the event they don't change their mind in the next day or so.
Our understanding is that the Contact Group in New York has agreed to a consensus text of a U.N. Security Council resolution.
