When Sarah Palin goes out and says this [about her son] is because of this [ post- traumatic stress disorder], it`s actually not because of this. And now it sort of gives the idea that all veterans are going to pick up a weapon and shoot somebody, or all veterans are going to hit somebody.

Her [Sarah Palin] son went to Iraq under George W. Bush, but it gives us a chance to explain what post-traumatic stress disorder is.

I think if we really break it down and talk about post-traumatic stress disorder, it`s very different than the way Sarah Palin explained it.

She [Sarah Palin] doesn`t quite understand the issue [post-traumatic stress disorder] and, you know, if she`s going to continue to be in this space, hopefully she can do some homework and make some policy recommendation that are relevant to fixing the problem.

I was shocked [of Sarah Palin ], because beating up, you know, your girlfriend, your spouse, or acts of violence aren`t one of the core symptoms of post-traumatic stress disorder.
