Unless Riley really messes up something - given relatively good economic times, given the lack of scandal, given the fact that all of the tax business is in the past - it's hard for me to imagine how Riley could blow it.
It appears, and not unexpectedly, that Bob Riley is the man to beat.
For an incumbent at this point in the campaign, that can't be good news.
If he can get an acquittal before the primary, he might still be strong.
