So far, and today, everything felt really great. Now I am good to get on the plane and fly to Australia.

My preparations haven't exactly been great but I am here and ready to play. I am hitting the ball well and moving okay.

Martina is a great champion. But when you're out there, you just focus about what you have to do and not think about who you're playing. When you're younger, you're more aware of who your opponent is. But as you get more experience and you play the best players, you don't think about that. You just focus on the ball and on the game.

I would like to thank all the Belgian people who have been here today, ... We travel all over the world and we go to so many great places, and I think I can speak for Justine, too, no matter where we go there is always a lot of Belgian flags in the crowd supporting us.

I would love to be part of the team when we will play against the U.S., even though the date is a bit of a problem as it is right after Wimbledon and before Stanford. However, should we be playing on hard court, that Fed Cup tie would be an easy transition and a great preparation for the hard court summer.

We're all very excited and for the fans here in Belgium, it's a great opportunity to see us together and hopefully we can live up to the expectations. Russia is the defending champion and we'll have to play our best to beat them.

It's always great to come back against players like this. And this victory means a lot. But it's not over.

After the year I had last year, this is just the cherry on the cake. Obviously, it's a great feeling to get back to No. 1. It's always nice to get there.

I know that I'm not going to get tired if I have to play a third set, and that's a great feeling to have -- knowing that that's not going to be a problem for me. I can go out there and play that third set, knowing that it's going to take my opponent to play good tennis to beat me.

I never knew anything about it (the Jersey shore), ... But I had a great time.
