To me, it's like hours. I've seen her, in the hospital, shake a whole bed.
It just pleases me that finally she found what she wants to do. It makes me feel good, to believe that she's normal, just like any other kid.
If she's stressed out or tired, I can see the change in her and I'd take her off the ice, and we'd stay off the ice until the next day.
I noticed since I started her in skating, she was doing very well with her seizures. At one point I mentioned it to a doctor, about dropping her out of it, because it seemed like it was too much. And she said no, that's what kids need. They need to keep busy.
Her counselor said she did pretty well, that she took a liking to it.
