I would rather have my fate in the hands of 23 representative citizens of the county than in the hands of a politically appointed judge.

We really don't have money in a rural county like this.

We're able to provide transportation to the public that's not going to cost that much additional money. The county is not going to be buying new vehicles or hiring new drivers.

We ran out of gas. We didn't have any legs. Jay County kept coming at us. Their coach did a nice job of subbing guys in and getting rest. They have a very deep team.

We're a relatively poor county when you take away the Illinois people and the summer people. The regular, normal people around here don't have that much money.

We held the storm several times. It's a great rivalry between us and Center Grove. I have to say that we felt like the last time in the county tournament, they didn't beat us, we beat ourselves. That was a little extra motivation for us.

We hope to have most of the funds raised by the July 2006 Woodford County 4-H Fair, and have the new building up and operating for the 2007 fair.

We hope to have a good idea of where the county needs future infrastructure after we finish this plan. I don't expect many changes in the update but these meetings will help us determine that.

We have positive, enthusiastic learning centers in all our schools and that has carried over to Southern Lee, ... I'm hoping for a large turnout. Even people who don't or won't have children in school will have a very positive experience walking through Southern Lee High School. They will also see how schools have changed. As we consider renovations to Lee County High School, we will be looking at what we've done at Southern Lee." ()

We have people who have served in local and county offices and school boards. They are serious candidates and will offer voters an alternative. We are going to take back our government fair and square. Through the electoral process.
