Evil is relative - and what I mean by that is that our villains are as complex, as deep and as compelling as any of our heroes. Every antagonist in the DC Universe has a unique darkness, desire and drive. And the reason for being of 'Forever Evil' is to explore that darkness.

Every DC or Marvel property is constantly getting reinvented because we love these characters. They're so iconic, and we want to watch them over and over again.

'Forever Evil' is my love letter to DC super villains. It's my chance to take all of the villains I've worked with and all the ones I've never worked with and put them into one gigantic, epic story that will bring together the bads of the DC Universe.

It can't really happen today the way it did back then and part of that is because I think there's a bit of a competitive scare over at Marvel and DC so they lock guys up with exclusive contracts.

Every villain in the DC Universe wants something different, and not all of them want to rule the world. Or at least, not all of them want to rule the world in the way the Crime Syndicate do.

My credentials, briefly: I no longer go to church or believe in God, but I can still name every one of the fruits of the Spirit and reeled for days upon hearing the announcement that Audio Adrenaline was reunited with one of the singers from DC Talk.

There were only a couple of Marvel characters I read. I read 'Iron Man.' I have a lot of those. And this was the time they tried X-Factor out. I was never an X-Men person, but I was like, 'Let me check out X-Factor.' I was more of a DC guy in general.

I was looking to explore the theme of good and evil, so what better inspiration than the comics? I'd developed a relationship with DC and Warner Bros. when I donated a sculpture of Catwoman to the 'We Can Be Heroes' campaign a few years ago. That's what started it.

I've done work for hire. I've worked for DC and Dark Horse.

The DC Universe has the best villains in fiction, right? I don't think there's any group of villains collectively or anywhere else that come close to DC's. Joker, Cat Woman, Lex Luthor, are all staples. A lot of the comic book icons are fiction icons.

That and the fact that I knew that nobody was going to publish my work at Dark Horse or DC or anywhere.

I love creator-owned comics. Most of my favorite books these days are creator-owned, from stuff DC publishes, like 'Fables,' to books like 'Saga,' 'Fatale,' 'Hellboy,' and 'Courtney Crumrin.'

If there are two kinds of people in the world - DC Comics people and Marvel Comics people - what kind am I? Well, to be honest... I'm a Wildstorm kinda guy. Fortunately, the DC Universe is full enough and replete enough with every kind of character that you could want, that it's not that hard to find the right character. Sometimes it's nothing more than an Easter egg, or a name drop, and sometimes it's someone like 'Deathstroke,' who is a huge part of the DC Universe.

Hopefully this is the payoff of all the work everybodys been doing for where were taking the DC Universe into 2006 and beyond. Everythings story-driven. Were all trying to do the best stories we can. These villains have to be real threats. Theyve got to be as tough as the heroes are, or tougher, because that makes our heroes stronger. Theres nothing better than having a hero go up against someone more powerful and smarter than them, and winning anyway because theyre doing the right thing. Thats why I like making villains capable, powerful, and nasty because it makes our good guys look that much better.

I think Aquaman feels - and deservedly so - like an A-list, premier DC hero. I hope that carries on; it certainly will carry over to Justice League.

It is a nice buttery, flaky fish that is so pleasant to eat. It requires a delicate cooking method. It can hold up with a lot of flavors and combinations with ingredients. My favorite is with citrus and this will be great when we introduce it this spring at DC Coast for the first time.

...Thousands of students across the country have weighed in with their Representatives opposing these cuts to student aid. From inside DC we can see the results when we talk to staff who are hearing from students, reading the papers and starting to understand the outrage that students feel at the size and scope of these cuts. In short I believe students can have a significant impact.

Unlike Marvel, we are not setting up redundant organizations for expertise that exists. We will track all DC properties to measure financial success.

We aim to have four or five stores in one area to justify building a new distribution facility. The challenge, however, is to balance DC locations with stores and regional growth initiatives. We are strategically planning for the future with our new Savannah center.

The decision to work with Marvel for a while isn't any sort of denigration of DC. The DC Universe Animated made for videos, which we do in cooperation with Warner Animation, are very intentionally scheduled at 3-4 a year, depending on whether or not there's a theatrical tent pole release in a given year, in which case we may choose to do four of them a year.

I've been reading comics since I was four. I used to get them when I would go grocery shopping with my mom. I remember getting the digest versions of old DC comics. The one that I remember reading first was Paul Levitz' 'Justice Society of America' stuff that he was doing in the '70s.

The same music is playing on the radio in San Francisco, New York, Washington DC and Annapolis. Everywhere you go there's the same artists and same songs by them, over and over again. At some stations they play the same songs 50 to 60 times a week.

I've always been attracted to themes of isolation in my work - in my independent work and my DC work.

November rolled around and our checks came up smaller then normal. DC Studios was finally deducting Federal Taxes, another step we looked forward to during this acquisition. This happened twice in November, yet no new contracts had been drawn which justified any Dallas member as an actual employee of DC Studios. We questioned this matter, and in December, our first check came in and it was back to the old figures, where no taxes were being taken out. So where did our Federal Tax money go, not to mention the withholdings for Health Insurance, which we found out was canceled due to non-payment?

Aquaman is one of the greatest characters at DC Comics and one of my favorites.

Aquaman has the ability to be a huge character, and I think we really brought him to a new level in comic books, and I'm hoping that new level continues to everything that is DC Entertainment. Certainly, that's the goal. He's one of our most recognizable and most important characters, and it's going to continue to stay that way.

A problem with the former method of testing is that it caused a treeing effect, which is a void in insulation. I've had the luxury of working on a lot of our great brands here at Warner Brothers, including a lot of the DC ones. I've also worked on a lot of great brands that were not DC.

There was a quaintness to his 1960s (cartoon) that some people felt was open to interpretation. He has always been one of the more powerful characters in the DC Universe, but he has not always been portrayed in that fashion.

I love every character in the DC universe, except for Rampage. Rampage is a She-Hulk rip-off, and I like She-Hulk.

In DC Comics, Blue Devil is a superhero who came out of a movie.

By working with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment we will fuse the knowledge SOE has in the online space with some of Warner Bros.' phenomenal properties. SOE will work closely with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics to maintain the authenticity consumers demand from the DC Comics franchises. We will also take steps to continue the same high level of service that subscribers have come to expect from The Matrix Online game.

He's enjoying it. He's loving it. We're not ready for him to go back to DC yet. We hope to keep him here a couple more days.

'All-Star Wonder Woman' would get worked on in what is laughably referred to as my 'spare time.' I just ended up with less and less time to devote to it. Eventually, we all realized that it was taking forever, so we just all agreed to hold off on it 'til the time was right to do it properly. Well, I still have a contract; DC never tore it up.

The driving factor for me is having DC as one company together ourselves. Our ability to work more collaboratively with the whole studio is certainly a benefit.
