Modeling was a way of financing my fighting. My fighter friends definitely made fun of me: 'I've seen you in your underwear, bro!' But once they realized the girls loved it, they asked, 'How do I get into it?'

Modeling isn't all that tough.

I would love to get a place out in the country and spend my idle time just remodeling and planting seeds and watching them grow.

I've wanted to be an actor since I was 6 years old. I was literally picked off the streets of Paris... while I was modeling there. I was asked to audition for Oliver Stone's 'Alexander.' I didn't get the part, but that led to commercials and roles in South Africa.

An unforgettable experience happened on December 15, 1996 when I won the Supermodel contest while still in school. I was just seventeen years old then. Winning that competition was the turning point of my life. That's how I got into modeling and later started acting.

At an awkward time in junior high, when I got braces, my mom encouraged me to take a modeling class so I'd learn to walk properly and wear makeup.

We call them Twinkies. You've seen them on television acting the news, modeling and fracturing the news while you wonder whether they've read the news - or if they've blow-dried their brains, too.

We're very early in this movement to address the most common form of violence there is for children, which is bullying, and hazing is a type of bullying. Hazing in children is caused by adults, through modeling hazing behavior and responding inadequately when it occurs. That creates hazing.

I began modeling in N.Y. and doing commercials. That led to regional theatre and then Broadway and then movies.

I'm still an artist. I'm never gonna do a shit movie, because I've got my modeling to support me.
